About Me

Well to start off, my name is Alejandro Chavez. I was born and raised in Oxnard California. I have two older siblings: a brother and a sister. Growing up my parents put me into soccer and I fell in love with it. I went to a private school from Kindergarten to eighth grade but eventually went to Pacifica High School where I ran cross country and track my first two years and played soccer my junior and senior year along with one volleyball season as a senior. I graduated in 2012 and attended Pierce College and LA Mission College the following two years. I played soccer for LA Mission the Fall of 2013 but then moved back to Oxnard and took my first semester in Spring of 2014.

I am currently a full student at Oxnard College and plan on transferring to a 4 year later on. Right now I'm not sure what school or major I'll choose because it all depends if I get the chance to play for a school and whether or not they'll have a certain major I like. I recently got into photography due to a friend and have gotten to like it. I'm not very good at it but I have gone to these meet ups in LA where I've met hundreds of other photographers including a well known one named Van Styles. Right now I'm not sure if it is something I will stay with but it certainly has given me a different outlook to life.

In the future I hope to be a business man or an Architect as I have always wanted to be that when I grew up. Depending on when my brother graduates I may be the second or third graduate in my family after my sister who graduated with a Bachelor's in Science. She plans to get her doctorate after working sometime at a physical therapy office. For now I just hope to transfer schools and eventually make my parents proud by acheiving a profession.
